Mineral Exploration & Geology

Rigorous geological surveys, field sampling and resource assessment across the most promising mineralized belts of Central Africa.

Our Exploration Approach

Africore Global Resources conducts systematic mineral exploration campaigns using the most modern geological methodologies. Every mission begins with a thorough desk review — previous studies, regional geological maps, satellite imagery — before deploying to the field with seasoned multidisciplinary teams.

Our geologists operate in complex environments across Central Africa, precisely identifying and characterizing mineralization zones. We specialize in copper, cobalt, precious metals and other strategic minerals critical to the global energy transition.

Our Core Capabilities

Mapping & Reconnaissance

  • Regional and local geological mapping
  • Geophysical surveys (magnetometry, IP, electromagnetism)
  • Satellite imagery and airborne data interpretation

Sampling & Analysis

  • Soil, rock and stream sediment sampling
  • GPS-georeferenced sampling
  • Geochemical and mineralogical analyses in accredited laboratories

Resource Assessment

  • Mineral resource estimation per JORC/NI 43-101 standards
  • 3D deposit modelling
  • Detailed technical reports for investors and partners

Our Field of Action

Lualaba Province and the Katanga region in the Democratic Republic of Congo concentrate our exploration activity. This area forms part of the African Copperbelt — one of the world’s largest copper provinces — which also hosts significant concentrations of cobalt, a critical element for the global energy transition.

Our teams have already identified significant copper mineralization indices (malachite, chalcopyrite) in metamorphic formations with alteration and oxidation patterns characteristic of economically exploitable deposits.
